I am a follower of Jesus Christ, and a Loyal and Dedicated Husband to my wife.
My First Passion
My dad gave me my first barbell weight training set when I was 10 years old and I never let them get rusty from lack of use! I turned my passion into a career and after 4 years as a high school teacher and coach I was fortunate enough to spend most of my working life as a personal trainer, health club manager, and owner of several small to medium sized health and fitness facilities. I was privileged to play a part in the development of what later became the prototype for the Curves Fitness Franchise and in the building of a 25 thousand square foot corporate wellness facility.
Several years ago, I went into a semi-retirement mode having the opportunity to serve as primary caregiver for my in-laws this led to the exploration of working from home. Today I work primarily through the affiliate marketing of products and services that my wife and I use personally.
God’s Call
I am not a theologian, but a lay person who loves reading, studying, and meditating on the Word of God. Twenty plus years ago I began teaching during Sunday School and I have been leading in weekly Bible Studies ever since. The Primary Purpose of this site is to share my passion for the Word of God, sharing my down to earth perspectives through the lens of Scripture. Secondarily, I will also share some health, fitness and preparedness tips hoping you find information that will help you in your life journey.

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
