“Nothing in life is certain. There are no guarantees, ever. Building your own business or embarking on a side project or trying a whole new career doesn’t mean you’re diverting from the path of certainty and into a life of the reckless unknown. It means you recognize that certainty is largely an illusion, and clinging to it can ultimately hold you back.” Brianna Wiest
There was a time in our nations history when parents told their children finish high school, get a good job with a good company, save your money and retire after 40 years!
Then it was get a great education which included college, get a good job, save your money and retire after 40 years!
Fast forward to 2018 and those recommendations no longer apply to the work world.
Working for one company for your entire working career is all but disappeared.
The average job last about 2 to 3 years, most people will have 8 or more job changes by the end of their work life.
Pensions and retirement income are becoming something of the past for many companies and their employees.
Certainty is more uncertain then ever!
The world economy is changing and is moving back toward entrepreneurship.
I know many individuals that are gifted with talents that in the marketplace would be of great value providing the opportunity for a solid financial future.
I know we have all heard this saying, “the only thing certain in this life is death and taxes!”
A change in career or starting your own business is does not mean moving into the dark unknown.
We get clear on our why, start with the end in mind, work backwards on the actions required to achieve the goal.
We do this by seeking wise counsel from others that have done what you want to do, put it all down in a business plan and then execute.
We realize that there will be failure but with each failure comes a growth opportunity.
We learn what didn’t work and we also learn from what did and the growth continues and we keep moving forward.
Reaching toward living out our full potential that we have determined and not someone else!
You Can Do It!
